Education

We appreciate the need for education and work to improve the educational environment and developing teaching and study skills for both teachers and pupils. We have paid attention to the nutritional and psycho-social needs of children and adolescents affected by crises, displacement, or extreme poverty. We closely work with the Ministry of Education to target above 6,000 school pupils in White Nile. We rehabilitated 54 permanent classrooms in 10 schools in Kosti and Rabak with focus on ou-of-camps South Sudanese refugees. We trained 108 teachers in Education in Emergency (EiE) and built the capacity of 192 members of parent-teacher associations (PTA) in school management and fundraising. In addition, we are also supporting the roll-out of school improvement plan initiative
