Project Description :
The project seeks to strengthen social cohesion by promoting peaceful
coexistence and provide refugees, IDPs and returnees with a stable
environment. As such, improvement in the living standards of hosting
communities through Shelter. The project targeting 1000 Households in Blue
Nile at Kurmuk and Baw localities.

Before the distribution started, the community members who were gathered at
the distribution site were informed about the selected target list in order
for them to understand that the cash assistance was only meant for the
selected list earlier. The most vulnerable male and female refugee returnees
were prioritized to receive cash assistance.
Team include 8 ADD staff, 4 Bank staff with HAC focal point which deliver
cash to 1000 HH’s (100% returnees) the final batch from the cash
distribution regarding to the agreed selection criteria with the UNHCR and
the stakeholder, 1000 HH’s working to finalizing their shelters construction
after receiving the second cash disbursement 79,750 SDG per HH’s as final
patch the First cash disbursement install was 144,250 the total amount per
HH’s was 224,000 SDG per HH’s
